Floyd Mayweather vs Ortiz Post Fight Interview by Larry Merchant - The interview with Larry Merchant after the fight was short and amusing. Here's the transcript:

Larry Merchant: You Took shots at him unfairly after you went together in the ring, made up for the headbutt, and then you poked. What's your story?

Floyd Mayweather: First of all I want to thank God for this victory. Without God this wouldn't be possible. I want to thank my team. I got hit with a dirty shot, and it's protect yourself at all time. I hit him with my right hand and that ended the bout.

Larry Merchant: So you're saying that even though it appear that he wasn't protecting himself, and thought that was part of the ceremony that you we're going through of apology, that you unfairly took advantage of him. What do you say to those who say: "Why'd you do that? You were winning the fight, you're in charge."

Floyd Mayweather: I just want to say to everybody that to those who bought the pay per view, that came to Las Vegas, thank you.

Larry Merchant: You know you're a promoter, but now we're talking to a prizefighter. Let's take a look at what happens at the end of the fight, and you describe it.

Floyd Mayweather: We touch gloves, we back to fight, hook, right hand, and that's all she wrote.

Larry Merchant: So for you, it was just an automatic response, let's get on with the fight.

Floyd Mayweather: It's protect yourself at all times. He did something dirty. We're not here to cry what he did dirty, or what I did dirty. I was victorious, if he wants a rematch, he can get a rematch.

Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz Winner Result - Mayweather Wins - Mayweather won all the rounds in their fight with Victor Ortiz. He also knocked out Victor Ortiz in a weird round. How weird? Well, let's just say that Ortiz butted, kissed and hugged his opponent.

Mayweather responded with a quick right hand that sent Ortiz down to the canvas after referee Joe Cortez broke Ortiz's shenanigans. This time around Victor wasn't the victor, he was blindsided by Mayweather's hurried punch after Cortez's break. Ortiz struggled to get up, prompting Cortez to call the fight over.

Round 1: Mayweather throwing his lead right, ducking counter attempts. Left to the body by Ortiz. Right to the body by Floyd. He looks real fast as usual. Right lead by Floyd. ortiz isn’t eating those just yet. Ortiz with a right hook, not big. Right hand by Floyd, that one was sharp. That lead is excellent so far. Ortiz corners him, and goes to the body. Nice work by Victor. Left hook by Floyd and then he gets right back out. Ortiz looks HUGE.

Ortiz throwing and missing from range. Right to the body by Ortiz as he presses Floyd to the ropes. Victor lets him off the ropes even though Cortez is letting it go. Floyd slips a left from Ortiz. Mayweather round, but an interesting round. Ortiz looks like he belongs for now.

Round 2 : Crowd very much behind Ortiz, chanting for him to start round two. Floyd gets in real close, real quick, and neutralizes Ortiz a bit. Ortiz with a left, and now he’s putting on pressing. Elbow from Floyd, quick warning from Cortez. Long right from Floyd. Floyd short with a right. Body shot from Floyd, Ortiz chops him with a right. Right hook body, left hand body from Ortiz. Right hook upstairs doesn’t land. Straight right from Floyd gets through the guard. Ortiz stalking Floyd, but Mayweather pops him. Ortiz walks him into the corner.

Ortiz pressing, throwing that left hand, and just a bit too slow on it. Just a hair. he’s really in this fight for sure. Right from Floyd to the body. Left to the body from Victor. His shots are harder, and that body work is nice. Mayweather with two rights upstairs, now measures one and is blocked. Ortiz gets him to the conrer, charges, and gets tied up. Ortiz really trying to maul Floyd. This is not bad at all. Not bad at all.

Round 3: Floyd flicking his jab out. Left hook by Floyd, and then he gets him with another one. That’s classic Floyd. Caught him coming straight in. Floyd coming forward now. Eye of the pumpkin trunks. Another counter left hook from Floyd as Ortiz walks in. Right hand from Floyd chops. STIFF right hand from Floyd. GOD CALL THIS FIGHT, STOP TELLING ME ORTIZ’S FUCKING LIFE STORY.

Right hand again from Floyd. He’s REALLY picking him apart this round. This is Mayweather all over. Floyd with another left hook that Ortiz comes right into. Floyd’s in a groove. Victor looks a little confused. Right hand again. Ortiz has landed 2 punches apparently this round. 24 seconds left. Hard right by Floyd.

Right again by Floyd. Floyd backing him down now. Victor needs to adapt, fast.

Round 4: Floyd now throwing his hands all over and getting to Victor a ton. Ortiz marking up. Ortiz just doesn’t know what to do with Floyd. It has already started.

Floyd with the right again. Right uppercut. He’s tearing Ortiz apart. Ortiz now coming and gets to Flod on the ropes! ORTIZ LETS HIM OFF! AND THEN COMES BACK! ORTIZ POURING IT ON, BUT FLOYD SHAKES IT OFF!

Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez 3 Manila Hotel Press Conference Video - The four city press tour started on Saturday at the Quirino Grand Stand Manila. It is an announcement to the world of the upcoming finale of the trilogy between Marquez and Pacquiao. This time around they would fight for Pacman's WBO welterweight belt. As in previous fights of Pacquiao, the fight will be televised Saturday, November 12 by HBO. Top Rank will be the sole producer, and it will be held at Las Vegas MGM Grand.

The Manila press conference was held at Manila Hotel with both Pacquiao and Marquez answering interviews. Here are some quotes:

Interviewer: "When the second fight was replayed, a while ago, there was a part on the video wherein, the last part of the score card of the judge was read, and you are about to Juan Manuel Marquez, and shake his hand. And then that was the time, that the ring announcer said 'and the new WBC super featherweight champion.' You suddenly celebrated, some if not all the people, observers, thought that at the time you are already congratulating Juan Manuel Marquez, and accepting defeat, and were shocked you won."

Manny Pacquiao: "No, after that round, the last round, I'm not congratulating him. I'm just shaking his hand. That's what I'm doing usually after the fight."

Interviewer: "When you went up in weight to fight Mayweather, it was not a good result. You had a lot of trouble. Why should this time be different? Can you convince us that you will have a better performance, this time a higher weight?"

Juan Manuel Marquez: "Mayweather didn't like to fight. The ring needs two fighters. He's very different, and I like to fight. And this fight on November 12, Manny and I, everyone will watch two warriors in the ring. It's the difference."

Interviewer: "Is this the same Manny Pacquiao you fought in the past? Is this a different fighter?"

Juan Manuel Marquez: "This is a different fight. He changed. He is working with two hands. He uses the right had too. His style, he has more speed. I need to take care of myself."
