"Credentials don't lie and my record speaks for itself. I was in the sport 11 years and I was a champion for 10 years. I left on top, and I am coming back on top. I am ready to reclaim what's mine.

Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto knockout prediction. Dwyer of Gambling Advisory has predicted that Pacquiao will win if he ever he faces Cotto.

His main reason is that the way to beat Manny Pacquiao is through a straight right hand. Pacquiao's past three fights has been with left hand dominant fighters: Pacquiao vs Hatton, De la Hoya vs Pacquiao, and Pacquiao vs Diaz.

Dwyer beleives that Cotto like De la Hoya is a converted southpaw w/ a undeveloped right hand. His other reason includes that:

- cotto has been dropped before (torres & corely fights)
- cotto has to set his feet to punch
- cotto has no power when if fights off his back foot
- cotto won't be able to deal w/ pac's southpaw angles
- pac has speed advantage (hand / feet)
- pac is impossible to beat if he sits on the right shoulder

After his Victory Motorcade, Pacquiao went to the Malacanang Palace for a Courtesy Call, where President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, her Cabinet and members of Congress showered Manny Pacquiao with confetti, praises, a cake emblazoned with the Philippine flag and a sumptuous Filipino lunch in a chandelier-lit banquet hall.

Three tenors serenaded him with a rendition of his songs — one of his many side interests that includes acting.

Pacquiao presented his IBO light welterweight champion belt to Arroyo then gave her and her husband his team's sports jackets. Arroyo wore it over her elegant fuchsia dress, grabbed a microphone and threw questions at him like a fan.

"Did Hatton hurt you?" Arroyo asked.

"Not so much," Pacquiao replied. "On top of the ring, I thought he was bigger and stronger. But no, he could not take the punch of the Filipino nation."

Arroyo presented him with an encased copy of a presidential proclamation, which called for a national celebration Monday for Pacquiao, who was described as a "boxing legend" whose "life and victories inspire the Filipinos to have resiliency and dedication to triumph against all odds."

Manny Pacquiao Victory Party Conga Room Los Angeles. Projection Screens was setup at the Latin themed nightclub Conga Room that showed boxer clips of Manny Pacquiao. Meanwhile, hundreds anticipated the arrival of the best fighter in the world. The superstar was late because he was watching the semifinals of the NBA.

"Tonight he can sing all night... You fight hard, you get to have fun . . . but not too much," said trainer Freddie Roach in the after-party.

"Manny! Manny! Manny!" chanted the crowd when he arrived.

Wearing a cream-colored suit jacket and jeans, and followed by his entourage and throngs of fans, Pacquiao sang Lahing Pinoy amidst the flashing cellphone screens and digital cameras.

Pacquiao vs Hatton Update Result: Manny Pacquiao Wins!

The Manchester contingent at Las Vegas was overwhelming. They chanted, they cheered, they beat their drums and their chest, singing Ricky Hatton songs. The hurray from the Philippines crowd were drowned by the English soccer-stadium like roar.

But alas, before the first round is over, the Filipino "Manny, Manny, Manny" hoorays has replaced the Brits "There's only one Ricky Hatton" signature whoop during the pre-fight walk-ins. When the fight was all over, Pac-Mania has reached a deafening fever pitch, eclipsing the now faded British battle song.

The fans sentiments are understandable. Pacquiao, after all, has knocked out Hatton via perfectly timed punches. It was short and sweet for the Filipinos, but what might have been an eternity for the fallen, a bitter truth that's hard to swallow.
