I thought Manny was so tired coz there were times when he let Cotto punch his body..didn't know he was just measuring his power...brilliant!!
Its easy to say he was "measuring" his power after the fight. He was getting hit and thats the bottom line. He came through like the champ that he is though. But be careful for asking for the Mayweather fight. Mayweather hasnt had anything to prove in quite some time and Manny is becoming more "civilized" than ever. And thats the worse thing that can happen to a killer like him.

I think "measuring" Cotto's power was part of the plan. Notice that Pacman came out to the ring to the music of "Eye of the Tiger". He acted like Rocky vs Apollo because he just stood there coverup and asked for Cotto to hit him in the early rounds.

Manny is a superb boxer/fighter right now.. No one can beat him at 147 below.. That's why the only opponent left for him is Mayweather, Mosley can be but i don't think Manny can do 2 more fights because of his other plans for his life.. Now Mayweather cannot run or duck this guy, Manny called him out before, Mayweather acted after the Marquez that no one's calling him out (including Pacman)..Manny doesnt want to talk about it 'cause he knows its pointless and he just let Arum do the things for him..

I think it's a mistake to underestimate Floyd Mayweather. Im sure it's going to be a great fight..but people shouldn't think that Floyd is an easy fight for Pacman. It's going to be one hell of a fight if it happens. It'l probably be a more tactical and precise game. I can't wait for that fight!
After Mayweather-Pacquiao, both fighters can retire for good..win or lose. I think Floyd still deserves credit for being an undefeated fighter....but no one can take away what Pac has achieved. 7 world titles in 7 weight divisions.

Great fight but Floyd is a different animal. He's not going to be easy to hit at all. he's very conservative with his exchanges and has excellent defense. Should be a good fight though.....

watch de la hoya mayweather again. floyd CAN be hit with roach's gameplan. pacquiao's also faster and stronger and more conditioned than de la hoya. if they fight, i honestly believe pacquiao will knock him out.

if it's for the money let Manny Pacquio fight Mayweather. but it's not a good fight because Floyd will not fight him toe to toe. He is a hit and run fighter and Manny don't like that. He might lost to Floyd in points because of that style. During Cotto's fight when he began circling in the ring Manny is so disappointed in chasing him. Mayweather can't even finish Marquez during a knockdown in the second round.
Notice that Mosley was part of Mayweather's entourage during the fight between mayweather and marquez, and at the post fight interview, the second they brought questions about Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, Mosley interrupts the interview and says HE wants to fight Mosley...sounds like a set up to me...IF Mayweather were to fight Mosley, I bet you Mayweather would pay Mosley under the table just to let Mayweather win guaranteed. Prolly what he did with Marquez as well cuz Marquez wasn't doing ANYTHING in the fight against Mayweather...Mayweather probably paid him under the table to let him win and to protect his record...which is why he wouldn't want to face Pacquiao because Pacquiao would NOT take the deal.

Manny wasn't really disappointed in chasing Cotto..I think that was part of his strategy..I THINK Manny tried to stop chasing Cotto so that Cotto would not have any choice but to go back towards Manny. If you notice the interview after the fight, Manny says "I know Cotto wants me to chase him so he could get a chance to get a LUCKY shot and knock me down...my trainer told me not to fall for that." Well, not those exact words but something like that..

I think Manny is way too good over Mayweather. Manny is the more complete package than Mayweather. Mayweather is just boring to watch because of his style. I know there is a clamour for the MP vs. Pretty Boy Floyd fight just because people wants to shut-up Mayweather's loud thrash talking mouth and the people don't have the chance to do it except for Manny in the ring. Some may have thought Pacquiao was hurt and dog tired in round one. How was this possible after training four hours straight for 8 weeks, sparring 160 rounds with all those bigger than him.-like Shawn Porter? To me it was obvious that he was testing Cotto. Then after being satisfied that he could handle the punches, he attacked, giving Cotto a beating even worse than the one he got from Magarito. He proved that he is very strong and durable, unfazed by Cotto's punches. Mayweather will never dare to go into ring with Pacquiao. All talk, I see right throught it.

it's obvious to see that pacquiao is measuring the power of cotto..as we can see in the first round he just standing in the front of cotto and allow cotto bang his body, which is not his usual style. as you can see his fight with hatton and de la hoya his always moving in different angle and not getting hit.
This is the way I was thinking when Manny was testing Cotto:

u guys dont know boxing yes pac man is agood fighter but he barley got passed marquez and floyed yes boring at times but hes a real boxer jab right cross and step out , mayweather will win , put your money on him.. and for cotto still one of the best fighters out there will love to see a rematch with margarito and beleive me he will win and then finally answer the question to prove that margarito was cheating at that time but just didnt get caught...
